Greens Candidate Replies To "Carrara House In Limbo"

During the 1990's, I supported the protection of Strickland House Estate as the Green candidate in the by-elections for the State seat of Vaucluse and the Federal seat of Wentworth.

I specifically rejected the boutique hotel idea.

I see no problem now in pledging to support the Woollahra History and Heritage Society's four requests to the local candidates.

These being: access to all of the land by the general community; gazetting as public parkland; prohibition on leasing to private interests; and retention of Carrara House for the general community.
