The Greens first ever candidate for Botany Bay City Council, John Tourrier, has received a respectable 6.3% of the primary vote in Ward C of the Council of the City of Botany Bay

John was forced to stand with out a running mate, which meant that he was handicapped by not having a box above the line on the ballot paper.
